Tactical Military Gear Is More Than Adequate For Wildlife Surveying Due To These 3 Important Reasons

I love the outside, even though I have been chased by a bear, bitten by snakes twice and almost lost a toe to frostbite. The outside isn't for everybody and I'll be the first to admit that. There is, however, something primal about being right there in the thick of nature.

A couple of years gone I became obsessed with wildlife observation, the type you see on those wildlife programs on the television. What I'll say is that the secret to getting as near as possible to your subject is mixing into the environment.

They Blend In
A method to mix in is to use camouflage clothing. I actually prefer camouflage military gear. I actually have one or two sets of tactical military gear apparel and each one comes in different colour schemes to blend in with the different environments. I have got a set of white ones which are for polar bear observation. I also have two adaptations of green based military gear attire, one for grasslands and another which suits jungle outings.

They're Tough
The outdoors require an individual who is rough. You can expect a lot of cuts and bruises, stormy weather and none of the comforts of home. Of course, the gear that you take along must be durable. Leave everything that tears or breaks simply at home or you will regret it later on.

Your gear must be durable enough to get through troublesome bushes, coarse tree trunks and the odd wild animal attack without falling apart.

This is why I choose tactical military gear for all my expeditions. They have been thru weeks of mud, snow and rain and they're still going strongly. Sure I'm unable to get a lot of the stains off but I guess it just adds character to the whole ensemble.

They Have Masses of Storage
One thing you want when going on wildlife expeditions is masses of storage. Remember, you will be gone for weeks. You not only need spare attire, you would also need spares of everything.

I like that my ruck pack has masses of built in compartments that make it simple to organize and access my gear. It's also got drainage holes at the bottom for wet days. Be certain to store items you wish to keep dry in a plastic zip lock bag.

My military gear back pack also incorporates PALS webbing which make it easy to glue gear as well as smaller pouches to it. I sometimes carry all the stuff that I might be using often in the outer pockets and attached pouches. Having said that , it'd be a good idea to wrap your camera lenses with some bubble wrap to give it protection from light knocks if you're going to keep them in the outer compartments.

If you're serious about wildlife observation or any other activity that has to do with long term out of doors expeditions, do give a concept about making an investment in some quality tactical military gear. They're not the least expensive out of doors gear around, but they're hard enough to last for several years of coarse use.

• For long, rough journeys, invest in good outdoor gear
• Durable tactical military gear last longer and is unlikely to give way during your expedition
• Gear with lots of proper storage space means you can load more stuff and organize them accordingly
