Call Of Duty Games, Before We Have To Fork Out Another 70 Dollars

What might be wrong with Call of Duty games? Nothing really. But there is a but. And when there is a but there is something wrong. The way I see it MW3 is way too short. You can be done it in around 20 hours, probably less.

When looking at games like Skyrim, which is essentially an FPS combined with RPG, it will take you 200 hours to finish the main story lines.

And because of its free roaming capability, and advanced AI that gives real life and randomness to NPCs, you have thousands of hours of game play waiting for you, and it is a bit cheaper than Call of Duty games.

Lets say the player in Skyrim wants to stay away from the main quest line. This is easily done. There is always something to do no matter where you go in the game.

The truth? Call of Duty games are getting shorter and shorter. The success of Modern Warfare has made the developers to think less about the player and more about the money. Modern Warfare 3 is not much different from its predecessor?

The makers of Skyrim have put out a truly innovative game building upon its predecessor: Oblivion. So why haven't they done this for MW3? I’ll tell you why

First off there are two kinds of games. Islands games and Alley games are the categories. Call of Duty games are alley games. In an alley game the player is led down a certain constrained path, where game boundaries are usually right beside you.

Boundaries are not immediately perceptible in Island games, and are often referred to as sandbox games, popular for RPGs. It might take you all day to walk to one.

What’s my point? Its just an idea, but what if FPS games were created like Island games? This would give the player a lot more play time. It is obvious that multi-player and survival mode, is were the hours of play time can be found in Call of Duty.

FPS game should be made more like Island games, with random battle possibilities outside of the main alley storyline. This would empower the player more, so the player can determine the way the game will evolve. Maybe you could call it a cross-genre RPS. Does it have to be RPG? No, but we should be able to build on your combat skills.

Hold on. I know that alley style games heighten the drama of the game play, and I love MW 2 and 3. I think they are the best FPS games out there. Before we have to fork out another 70 dollars, I just think it is time to start thinking outside the box for once.

In the end I prefer to play Skyrim, as its combat mode is still FPS. But still get the Call of Duty games, they are a lot of fun, and make sure you get Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and 3.

Arcana, known in Japan as Card Master: Seal of Rimsalia, is a 1992 RPG for the SNES by HAL Laboratory. The game represents all of its characters as cards, but plays like a dungeon-crawling RPG, rather than a card-based game. In keeping with this metaphor, the death of a character results in a 'torn' card, and the magical properties of some cards are used to expla
